STORDIS Brings PerfectSearch Private Cloud Appliance to the European market

New Fujitsu Powered Enterprise search appliance Delivers 10x performance of nearest competitors

13th February 2012, STORDIS, the high performance technology distributor, has today announced the European launch of its new enterprise search appliance, offered as part of the Fujitsu NuVola Private Cloud Platform Solution. The ‘PerfectSearch powered by Fujitsu’ appliance delivers sub-millisecond response times, with ten times the performance of its nearest competitor, whilst reducing enterprise hardware requirements by as much as 90 percent. 

Built on Fujitsu high performance hardware, the new appliance combines industry leading search software from Perfect Search Corporation with the Fujitsu NuVola Private Cloud Platform, to deliver security and ultimate scalability. Perfect Search’s patented software enables user to search up to a billion documents using a single appliance. The appliance uses unique disk based indexing rather than memory, requiring a fraction of the hardware and reducing overall solution costs, even when compared to open source alternatives solutions.
